I've just found out we're having a girl so have 5 months to think about it but as a starting point here is my list..please tell me exactly what you think!

Ava

1st tier: Eloise, Heidi, Phoebe
2nd tier: Grace, Serena, Eva, Ava
I don't like the others.

This is my order of preference
Elyssa
Elise
Phoebe
Ava
Grace
Paige
Eloise
Serena
Ariella
Eva
Ivy

Favourites are Phoebe, Ivy & Paige, in that order

Eloise - ok, though lots of Ellies out there already
Phoebe - dont like
Ivy - too old fashioned for me
Serena - nah
Elise - immediate thought is 'Lotus' ?!
Ariella - dont like
Elyssa - ok, though prefer Alicia
Eva - ok, though quite popular at the moment
Grace - like it though again quite popular
Ava - nice and better than Eva
Heidi - ok
Paige - no!

So out of that lot if I had to pick, I'd go for Ava!

Phoebe - love it
Ivy - Coronation street for me
Serena - pretty
Elise - I like it
Ariella - pretty
Elyssa - no, too fussy a spelling; Alicia is lovely though
Eva - way too popular
Grace - ditto
Ava - ditto
Heidi - I quite like it
Paige - dislike

Love Ariella! How about Aurelia?

Don't like Ariella or Paige. Grace is debatable.

Would have Alyssa rather than Elyssa.

But other wise, all lovely names. Would be between Phoebe, Serena, Elise and Eva for me.

Eloise - nice, on our shortlist
Phoebe - ok. i just think "Friends"
Ivy - it's a Beyonce name to me now
Serena - ok
Elise - nice, was on our longlist
Ariella - NO
Elyssa - NO
Eva - lovely but v v v trendy
Grace - has become a bit boring but lovely in theory
Ava - lovely but also trendy
Heidi - it's a nickname for Adelaide/Adelheid to me
Paige - very 90s. not my style.

I love them all, except Elyssa because it looks ugly and will get shortened to Ellie, and would add that there are already far too many Evas, Graces and Avas around!
