What would you put with this lot?

Miriam Audrey
Isaac Edmund
Esther Maude
Elijah Francis

I think it kind of has to be another biblical fn. I'd preferably like a saint (and one that I like) in mn position.

Boy names so far include: Jeremiah, Moses, David, Reuben
Girl names so far include: Lydia, Keziah, Judith

B- You know I can't have a Naomi. Tut.

Ruth was the next name on the list, but two mc down the line I kind of feel I've used it, if that makes sense.

Leah is nice but not so much in a NE London accent. Lay-yaaaaaa!

Aaron- do like this, but it would be Arron and I'd have to tell people how to say it all the blinking time.

My cat is called Phoebe!

It's hard. I'm really really pleased with the other names, and am very conscious that I don't want to give a fifth child a bit of a rubbish-I'm-sorry-all-the-good-names-were-taken kind of name. Sarah, Hannah, Matthew, Samuel etc are all very 'nice', but don't have the same wow factor, imo.

Hmmming about Josiah. It might go on the list.

Surname starts with an S and ends with an S, if that helps any? Eg. Solomon Summers might be a bit sssy, or could be super cool. I dunno.

Great names!

From you OP suggestions, I like Reuben and Lydia.

DD would have been Asher had she been a boy and now we can't use it because her name is, unintentionally, quite similar. Current pregnancy is a DD2 anywayGrin

Simeon, Judah, Benjamin, Ezekiel nn Zeke, Amos (we considered this til DH said EmmerdaleGrin), Jonah, Joash, Barnabus, Titus.
Biblical girls names are harder I think - you've picked the nicer ones and can't use Naomi and Phoebe Grin
Eve, Abigail What about Joy, Patience, Faith, Grace, I won't suggest Hope because I think that's an awful name to put on a child

Beautiful names, all of them. I'm expecting our first and leaning on DH hard for Miriam if a girl. We are singers (met singing) in our church choir and Miriam was a musician as well as prophetess.

Abigail? Agree with whoever said Ezra. We know a little Ezra (Ez) - super cute.

newby2 · 24/06/2012 16:54

Solomon! I wish i had the guts to use it myself!

Love your children's names! Biblical names are the best. We have a Noah and an Ezra - both of which I obviously love. Noah is becoming popular, whereas I have not yet come across another Ezra. We are expecting a girl soon and are thinking of Phoebe. I love Keziah, bot a friend has a girl called that. She is very cute and gets called Kezi a lot.
Also like:

Boys names: Seth (favourite!!), Eli, Jude (have nephew with this name), Micah, Elisha, Elijah, Reuben

Girls names: Tabitha, Martha

EndoplasmicReticulum · 03/07/2012 22:14

No name advice, just wanted to wave!

Unless there are two families with those names. Unlikely, I'd have thought.

It will be a girl, won't it?

GoodPhariseeofDerby · 03/07/2012 22:28

More ideas:
Reuel, Elihu, Josiah, Cyrus, Solomon, Ezra, Amos, Jonathan, Ezekiel.

Athaliah (A queen!), Serah (accent on the second half, Serah bat Asher I find a very interesting story), Elisheva, Tirzah, Bithiah, Keziah/Ketziah, Deborah/Devorah, Yael, Rebecca, Huldah, Michal, Abigail, Iscah.

Devora · 03/07/2012 22:55

I once knew a Soreh, which I think is a nice variant of Sarah.

Devora/h is obviously a very cool name.
