Is this too flowery?

We already have a DD called Daisy, and for this DC we really like the name Rosalie for a girl. If shortened to Rose/Rosie would it be a bit too flowery with DD's name? We have two boys as well but even so, does it make us appear to have a naming theme?

Well, it might seem as though you have a theme, but that shouldn't really matter if you like the name. Rosalie is very pretty.

I love both your daughters names, they both have a floral theme but they sound really nice when said together and if you like them then thats what matters.

They are both lovely names, but I have a friend with a Rosie and Daisy, and I find it really, really hard to remember which is which, even though I know them well, because the names are so similar. Just something to bear in mind...

I like Rosalie too but then I have a Rosina so am probably biased Grin.

Love Rosalie! I hope I get to use it too!

MrsApplepants · 20/06/2012 18:59

I don't think it would be a problem. Love, love, love Rosalie!

CharlieBoo · 20/06/2012 21:00

I think they go really well.. I have a Daisy too.. Good luck

Good point about the mixing up! Thanks for the replies :)

I can't see the problem and also don't see why anyone would confuse Rosie and daisy any more than any other names.
