If you had an Angus what would you call no2?

DS is Angus Duncan James. I love his name and want something we love equally for no2 (not imminent so no rush, just pondering!).

I like Rory, DH not keen unless it's spelt 'properly' - ruari, ruaraidh (see my problem?)
If DS had been a girl he might have been Iris, or Eilidh.

I would go for Struan or Hamish for a boy - I think they have the same weight as Angus as a good strong Scottish name.

I love Eilidh for a girl. Mhairi (pronounced Vari) is also lovely.

You have to be very careful with Iona. Even if it is okay with your surname if she changed to a partner's name later in life it could be unfortunate as it can sound like: I own a...

thanks all, time difference meant I'd gone to bed while you were still thinking! Current favourites Struan Alasdair Scott (family name) O'Sleepless, still think Iris is a front runner for a girl, with Kirsty close behind.

I was going to suggest Callum as it's the first thing that sprang to mind to go with Angus but see you've got a winner already.
Kirsty is nice for a girl; but I've always like Fiona as well. And Shona. And Catriona (can you see the pattern? )
