But not Yvette, which reminds me of that bit in Friends where Rachael wanted to call her unborn baby Sandrine.

Magda I like as a nn for Magdalena. I'm not particularly fond of Yvette. The only 'ette' name I like is Odette.

Yvette is bloody awful.

It makes me think of some slaggy old barmaid with over bleached hair, blue eyeshadow, leopard print leggings and a fag hanging out her mouth. It's a truly awful name.
