Hi all :) only 18 weeks but for some reason names are really bothering me especially since DH and I are struggling to agree . Boy middle name will be David and girl middle name will be Johanna . Let me know what you thank :)

Boys

Jacob
Max
Evan
Jonah

Girls

Charlotte (possible nn Callie)
Georgia (nn Georgie)
Violet

These are all we have and at that I am not completely in love with any of them like I was (am) with dc1 name . she is Phoebe .

TIA :)

Sorry but Clark is terrible.

Jacob - lovely
Max - don't like
Evan - lovely
Jonah - lovely

Girls

Charlotte (possible nn Callie) - lovely
Georgia (nn Georgie) - lovely, prefer Georgina but Georgia is lovely too
Violet - very very nowish, not keen

monkeymoma · 02/06/2012 19:20

agree that Callie doesn't seem like a NN for Charlotte

SiioCal · 02/06/2012 19:21

dislike Clark

Violet Johanna is lovely!

Runoutofideas · 03/06/2012 09:20

I have dds with 2 of your girls names, so am a bit biased and think they're lovely. Names we also liked included :

Imogen
Amelia

Alexander/dra
Jacob
William

BTW - I was insistent that my Charlotte would be Lottie but she is in fact often Charlie as it suits her cheeky, tomboy nature better! I also have a friend with Phoebe/Georgia siblings and they seem to go nicely together.

Jacob is my favourite of your boys names. I only know of one other but you shouldn't let popularity put you off if you like it.

Charlotte is lovely and doesn't need shortening or having a nn IMO. How about Clara as an alternative - that goes quite nicely with Phoebe.

I wouldn't worry about how the names sound with your chosen middle names, as middle names hardly ever get used.

Jacob and Charlotte.

SiioCal · 03/06/2012 13:18

run I like Imogen too but h has just completely vetoed it . Because of the Ryan giggs thing . That doesnt bother me .

I think I need more unusual boys names tho . Like Xavier or something Grin Althought I don't think I'll get away with that in the west of Scotland Hmm
