Help with Hindu -ish boys names for DC2

DP is hindu and I am not. Not usually a problem, however DP would like dc2 to have a Hindu name. If only we could agree on one

We need a boys name for DC2 that is either Hindu in origin, or is Hindu but not so much so, if that makes sense. It's a difficult balance that we achieved with DS but at that time we only had 1 boys name we could agree on. My current preferences are Issac and Noah, but they're being completely vetoed by DP who is failing to come up with anything better!

To complicate matters, we have a lovely long surname which is a bugger to spell and pronounce (but putting it on here would really out me!)

Fingers crossed we have a girl, as we have loads of pretty Hindu girls names

Any ideas?!

Thanks Moti I get that... I am Christian so the problem is I only know the Hindu names of people I know. And I don't fancy naming my potential ds after a relative!!

How about Siddarth- shortened to Sid?

Idris? Eshaan ?

Most indian/ white kids that I now ( via ds boys school) seem to be Kiran or khamran s.

Ds does joke that his mate Idris is so named because his parents wanted him to play rugby for Wales ! ( yes we know is a legit Muslim name with a string history)

My boys have Kiran and Nikhil as their middle names (am hindu, DP is not) - they are lovely names. Other ones in the running were Milan (which I loved, DH wasnt so keen), Jai, Ravi, Romit, Dev and Rohan
