Thoughts on the name Lois??

Hi,

I have 5 weeks to go & hubby & i have finally decided on a name we both like. As we are keeping the name a secret from family members until she is born, i dont have anyone i can put the name to for thoughts.
So would just like a general idea of what people think of the name Lois, and also maybe possible middle names? we are struggling as we have a 3 syllable surname beginning with M.

i like it - it's currently the top contender for our dc2 due next week if they turn out to be a girl. unless we think of something else!

it would be Lois Catherine if i may hijack the thread slightly for opinions on this? :)
