Your opinions much appreciated :)

Probably Daisy but love them both

BBQJuly · 09/04/2012 22:22

Daisy

threeleftfeet · 09/04/2012 22:24

Can I ask why you prefer Daisy?

Daisy.

smartiesrule · 09/04/2012 22:26

Definately Daisy.

stressheaderic · 09/04/2012 22:27

Daisy = trendy, very girly, cute.
Zoe = timeless. Suit any kind of girl/woman.

Zoe for me. We nearly called DD this.

smartiesrule · 09/04/2012 22:27

My friend was called Zoe. She got called Zow (to rhyme with low).

welovesausagedogs · 09/04/2012 22:27

Definitely Daisy

I dislike zoe, (quite a chavvy name, no offence to anyone who's called zoe).

BBQJuly · 09/04/2012 22:33

It's just personal taste, Zoe is a little harsher than Daisy.

threeleftfeet · 09/04/2012 22:43

Zoe chavvy? Really? That's not how I see it at all!

sancerrre · 09/04/2012 22:47

A vote for Zoe here too. (and I'm not a chav!)

LondonNadiy · 09/04/2012 23:02

Zoe, definitely. I've heard it called chavvy recently, but I never agreed! Don't like Daisy - I always think, would I take her seriously at work before I met her? Daisy is great until the age of about 6, then its a bit silly.

KirstyDaisyBBandFifi · 09/04/2012 23:07

As you can see I have a Daisy... so I guess I prefer Daisy... She is beautiful and I think the name is still beautiful.... BB and Fifi are nicknames by the way.... Hope you like your choice!

AmziePie · 09/04/2012 23:10

I love the name Daisy but Zoe is nice too, good name choosing!

fluffygal · 09/04/2012 23:18

Definitely Zoe, more edgy and feisty but still pretty. I like girls names that begin with Z. Daisy is quite common now, I know lots of little Daisy's but not any Zoe's.

toobreathless · 09/04/2012 23:32

Neither, not very helpful I know.

Daisy: too cutesey. Will get lost in a sea of Maisie/Milly/Evie/Alfie. Not for me.

Zoe: I just have an irrational dislike of, I personally feel the sake about Chloe. But rationally I think it's a better choice than Daisy.

iloveACK · 09/04/2012 23:33

I like both!

yellowflowers · 09/04/2012 23:35

Daisy is prettier

PercyFilth · 10/04/2012 00:03

Zoe all the way. Daisy is a name for cows and dogs.

EightiesEasterChick · 10/04/2012 00:05

Zoe. I've always liked it. Daisy is very cutesy but your daughter may not like that. Plus it seems to have been very popular for a few years now.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/04/2012 00:06

That's an easy question for me - love Daisy and hate Zoe.

BackforGood · 10/04/2012 00:17

Much prefer Zoe - I've never heard it thought of as being chavy - quite the contrary in fact, I see it as an elegant, timeless name that can take you into adulthood and any boardroom or court and still be OK in the teenage disco (or whatever the equivalent is nowadays Grin).
Daisy is a 'cute' , little girls name IMO and makes me want to burst into the Daisy Daisy song. I don't think it carries so well into adulthood despite having seen 'Driving Miss Daisy'.

startail · 10/04/2012 00:33

Zoe,
Daisy is cutsie and pretty, the one I know isn't. Unfortunate if, like the one I know she's sporty and slightly plain.

PeelingBells · 10/04/2012 01:07

Zoe---
Daisy--may not suit all personalities,

SodoffBaldrick · 10/04/2012 01:48

Daisy is very popular and will date badly. All popular names end up sounding dated 20 years on from their peak, but some fare worse than others. Because Daisy is tied in with all the frilly, twee names around at the moment, it probably won't fare well as people not only move on from certain names, but from certain types of names as well, i.e. these ones...

Zoe is more timeless, although I don't love it.
