DH:born and bred in Leeds (his parents as well) but would like to revisit his Indian origins for names. Two twin girls are due. Smile. We decieded on shortlist of indian names (for middle names): Sitara (meaning' star') , Akuti ('princess') or Rani (queen). British first names shortlist were Gemma, Melissa, Lisa, and Emma. Which combinations/names do you like? We were leaning towards Gemma Sitara and Melissa Rani...I have three other children, who will be their half-siblings: James (Jamie) Hugh, Hannah Lucia and Christopher (Chris) Edward. Sorry if I went on a bit Confused. Thanks!

Lovely Indian names, I think they are perfect. Not keen on either of your Brit names TBH, but your choice.

Your english names go with the names of your other children well, I probably like Emma best out of them though as the English names you like were very common in my generation so associate certain people with the names. I do know a half arab/british woman called Emma, she is my best friends sister. My best friend is called Shelina. I love the indian names you have chosen.

Gemma Akuti
Emma Sitara
Lisa Sitara
Melissa Rani

I like them all, actually!

I like all your Indian names but only really Melissa from your English names. I think Emma is ok but Gemma and Lisa a bit dated.

I think I agree with Emma Sitara and Melissa Rani
