DD2 due any day. Posted previously with our shortlist and got some good suggestions. My mum reckons 3 syllable names work best with our 1 syllable surname and I think she might be right but our shortlist are all 2 syllable.

So to give you a flavour of the kind of names we like...

DD1 is Joely Peggy B_

Shortlist for DD2 includes:
Polly
Posy
Edie
Elspeth

Middle names (none of which we want to use as first names):
Adelaide
Rosalind
Cecelia

Can you suggest some 3 syllable names along the same lines? Be very grateful!!!

Yay Melissa!

If it helps, I also think Melissa goes with Joely REALLY well - same kind of slightly French but not kind of name, if that makes sense?

Blatherskite · 04/03/2012 21:37

Elodie?
Eleanor?

Blatherskite · 04/03/2012 21:40

Wow, thanks all. I'm writing these down and will discuss with DH tomorrow. Will keep you posted!

Really am very grateful!

Love Edie, how about using Edith as a full name for it. Still only 2 syllable though.
