Girl twins, too much choice, help!

We're getting close to D Day now. Plan is to have 4 potential names so we can work out what suits which girl when they're born - obviously ignoring the fact they'll both look like baked beans anyway :)

Surname is one syllable, beginning with a 'w'.

Don't want names with the same ending ie 'a' or 'ie/y' or ones which will be shared with 10m other girls at school. Should be pretty, but works OK when she's running for Parliament. The pair of them can't be too 'twinnie' if you know what I mean.

Have foolishly been democratic and got family to vote, so DS has rejected Sally (my favourite) because it 'sounds like a bar wench' - not sure how many bar wenches he's encountered - and DP has said no to Liberty because it's pretentious. Some family resistance to Freya as she was my childhood dog but think I could force it through ;)

So help me filter the final 10 down to 4 please PLUS middle name ideas - one of which needs to be Beatrice (my Granny), others could be combos from this list.

Nancy Beatrice and Felicity Charlotte

Charlotte Beatrice & Felicity Sophia would be my choices. Fliss is a prettier nickname than Flick for Felicity.

I would avoid Isla as it may be shared with 10m other girls at school. Sophie/Sophia is also increasingly a popular choice. I think Romilly is a bit too fashionable - might date. All your choices are lovely though.

Another vote for Iona and Charlotte - gorgeous combo.

Charlotte my fave, then Iona or Freya (ie one of those with Charlotte).

Romilly Beatrice is SO lovely but the rest of the list does not compare even though they are nice enough names.

Romilly and Charlotte are my two favourites from your list, but I can't think of anything to work as a middle name with Charlotte. Any other family names as potential middle names?

If your surname is one syllable beginning with W, don't use Isla if the surname is White

Little Charlotte Iona and Romilly Beatrice made their appearance 5 days ago.

Thanks for all the naming help - I actually took the list complete with MN votes to the hospital with me to help in the final decision making!

They've gone down v well with all and sundry - but then no one's going to risk going 'eugh' are they!

I like Flora, Freya, Felicity and Sophia. Nancy is cute too.
