Im pretty new to MN but I LOVE looking at baby names. I love picking names for (imaginary) DC2. Since coming on here there are loads of names I've never heard of (and prob can't pronounce!)
So far...
Clementine
Persephone
Cecily
Seraphina
Are the ones that stick out. So, what names have MNetters introduced you to, and have you used them?

Inigo. How is it pronounced? In - I - Go? As in, "I see a enticing doorway so Inigo?" Confused

I do know a Torquil in real life and it has grown on me. Scandinavian I think.

Torquil is Scottish. It usually goes with the surname MacLeod. I once worked in medical records of a large hospital and there were loads of Torquil MacLeods - but no Torquils with other common Scottish surnames.

Ptolemy is Toll-emmie (looks like something glandular to me too)
Inigo is In-iggo (short i sound)
