I think I know the answer to this question but just wanted to check!

DH and I love the name January but my EDD is in September, could we still use the name.....its a no no isn't it?!

Middle name compromise?

EdithWeston · 17/02/2012 12:30

Yes, it's weird.

Perhaps you could try again later?

Stellan · 17/02/2012 12:34

You could always tell people it's because she was conceived in January...

Zanzicat · 17/02/2012 12:51

As you well know, it's a no.

BunnyLebowski · 17/02/2012 12:56

No for so many reasons.

Not least that the only even vaguely known person who is called January happens to be the biggest talent vacuum currently walking God's green earth.

And it's daft.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/02/2012 12:59

Bonkers. Bonkers even if she was born in January.

LittlePandaBear · 17/02/2012 13:37

I know of an Autumn who wasn't born in Autumn...

redrubyshoes · 17/02/2012 13:42

I am not keen on the shortening of it to Jan - it sounds middle aged to me.

PilchardsonToast · 17/02/2012 14:09

Thanks for setting me straight everyone - I shall cross it off the list!!!

Just too celebby.

Tirana · 17/02/2012 15:36

I like it as a name but I think you need to be born in January.

Same with all the names like Autumn, Summer, Winter.. April, June - I think they should fit with your time of birth.

Wafflenose · 17/02/2012 16:51

Agree with Tirana. I have met a January born in January, but also a March (female) born in September, and a Tuesday born on a Friday. Just odd! DD's middle name is May, but her birthday is in May!
