If you hear the name Donald, what age do you imagine him to be?

Just wondering, in these times when 'old man' names are all the rage, what do we think of this?

Is it too late to change his name?

i could ask the registrar, but given he is old enough to marry and vote, they might give me short shrift

My dad is Donald and he is 52 this year.
My little brother is Donald-Aaron and he is 22 this year.
All other Donalds I know are 50s/60s/70s/80s

I know them all ages, but then I'm of Teuchter stock, and grew up in Glasgow.

Most island Donalds are Donald John or Donald Iain or Donald Angus. So DJ is pretty common too. Or Donnie, or Dolly (the gaelic short form), though I don't think I've heard of a Dolly under 80.

There are a few Don's at my work, so I would probably imagine a 40-50 year old.

80s/90s now. My Grandad had a brother called Donald, about that age range.

I think he is 11, has a big pair of boots, likes running about in the wind, and chases animals with a stick!

BTw - he doesn't hit them, it's just for fun!

I think it's very regional too,
I like Donald as it's traditional up here.
I hate Henry as in my mind it's an upper class chinless wonder sort of name.
Ditto Nigel and Giles.

Any age, but I am up North and know plenty!
