Hubby and I are undecided with baby number 4's name. We have a daughter Sophie and two sons Harvey and Morgan.

I like Elsa or Autumn
hubby likes Isobelle or Eleanor

Boys names which we both like are:
Theo
Isaac
Ewan

Elsa - it is lovely, classic, timeless and elegant.
Autumn is nice enough.
Isobelle and Eleanor are a bit boring, but fine.

I only like Isaac out of your boys names, and that is only because it has Ike as a nn, which is fab!

shockers · 11/02/2012 15:49

I'm not keen on Autumn but I like all the others!

Montsti · 11/02/2012 16:24

I like Isobelle and Eleanor best but not keen on any of the other names. I also think of Elsa as a lion. How about Isla or Ailsa? Really not keen on Autumn....Theo seems very popular on here but I have a real aversion to both that and Thea...

Sorry not very helpful but think we just have different tastes in names and you'd probably hate choices!

mumnosbest · 11/02/2012 16:26

Like Elsa and Autumn (if born in Autumn).

toobreathless · 11/02/2012 16:51

I like most of your names & I'm usually quite fussy with names.

LOVE Autumn!! & I don't think it needs to be an autumn baby. Pretty and unusual.

Elsa: meh, not my thing personally but its ok. I also think its quite trendy and may date.

Eleanor & Isobelle: both beautiful and classic but would be too popular for me. Would Eleanor be called Ella?? Lots of these around.

Love all three of your boys names. If you like Ewan what about Ethan? Or Evan? Or Ellis?

BikeRunSki · 11/02/2012 17:01

Elsa or Eleanor.

Any variation of Isobel, and you're likely to meet another one at every turn (also Theo and Isaac).

Autumn has always struck me as a slightly odd name, and really only OK if the baby is born in the Autumn. Alss really like Ewan. Clearly I like "E" names.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 11/02/2012 21:46

Else for me.

campergirls · 11/02/2012 21:52

The 'I' name can be Isobel or Isabelle. Isobelle is all wrong linguistically.

Like all your boys' names. 'Autumn' will end up being really irritating for a child not born in the autumn. Elsa is really lovely, Isabelle/Isobel v nice too, but as others have said there are loads of them around.

sparkle12mar08 · 11/02/2012 21:57

Autumn - No. No, no, no, no, NO. Otherwise in order of preference I like Eleanor, Isobel (short scots spelling, lovely) but never Izzy or Belle as nicknames - horrid, and then Elsa.

For boys, Theo or Isaac, both gorgeous. Ewan, can't get enthusiastic about it, sorry.

fluffygal · 11/02/2012 21:58

Isobelle/any variant is very boring and there are so so many round my area (southeast). I used to think it was pretty but it is so common now. Love Autumn though! Not fussed on any boys names mentioned.

Beamur · 11/02/2012 22:02

I like Elsa best - very much in vogue as a short sweet name which has been around for a while but sounds fresh again. Much nicer than Elsie IMO.
Autumn - I'm not keen, personally I think it's a bit odd and American sounding.
Isobelle and it's various spellings is still hugely popular, I know loads, but it is a lovely name.
Of your boys names Isaac would be my favourite, followed by Ewan which is great too.

Wormshuffler · 11/02/2012 22:10

Elsa and either Isaac or Theo. They were all on our list for dd 5 weeks so you have great taste !

MsGee · 11/02/2012 22:13

I love Elsa - my chosen name if I'd had another child. Also love Eleanor - but DD is Eleonora (or Nora) so I'm biased Grin

EllenParsons · 12/02/2012 02:35

I love Elsa or Eleanor - both fab

Isabelle is also nice, but Isobelle is a confusing spelling. You normally see Isabelle or Isobel I think?

Autumn is a bit cheesy.

debijon11 · 13/02/2012 20:14

Thanks for your help, although we are really none the wiser. We still haven't got a name that we both love.

I'm not due until the end of Sept, but I wanted to get a shortlist of names ready as we really couldn't decide a name for our youngest.

I didn't realise that Theo and Isabelle were so popular :(. I'm in Wales and

the trend here seems to be Megan, Cadi (Caddy), Osian (Osh Ann) and Cai.

I'm sure we'll get there :)

I like Elsa and Autumn, although Autumn might go well if she was born in autumn! Just my humble opinion.
