Hello, am now thinking boys names for baby no2. DD1 is Isla Grace. Our favourites so far are:

Leo Benjamin R...
Samuel Christopher R...

What do people think? Any other suggestions much appreciated.

Personally I prefer Samuel Christopher R but they're both very nice choices :)

I love your DD's name and Samuel is one of my faves for a boy, so you have great taste! Leo is nice too but I would choose Samuel.

Leo is my sons middle name. I chose it as it is my grandad's name. But I have been asked quite a few times if it is his star sign! It isn't, and I think it's a strange question, but something to consider. I like both the names.

I love Samuel, so much so that it will be my boy's name when he finally appears in late May!!

I prefer Samuel but then Benjamin as mn as not keen on Christopher.

Another vote for Samuel too. Might be biased though as I chose it myself.

I would be cautious using Leo, to be honest. I do like it, but to me it suggests a strong, brave, lion-like boy. My nephew is a Leo and is painfully shy and awkward, and his name just seems to emphasise that.

Samuel is lovely, goes very well your DD too

ReneeVivien · 18/01/2012 15:04

Samuel is a beautiful name. I also like Benjamin a lot.

Leo is fine, but not a favourite of mine.

We've (almost) chosen Samuel if we have a boy and we're going for Joseph as a middle name - love Samuel, cute and grown up all at the same time.

I am biased as I have one myself but do prefer Samuel.
Think it's a lovely name dh wasn't keen at first but I loved it so much. Goes nice along with your dd too Grin

Thank you for all the replies. It's looks like a land slide victory for Samuel. We love both but think Samuel just pips it.
