well actually the name i wanted was Tamsin Eloise but dh hates that so our names we have agreed on are:

Elsie May or Georgia May

is there any hideous reason not to use these which is the nicest?

our other children are Jessica, Jacob, Bethan and Emily

How about Georgina? One of my favourite names!

Another vote for Georgina

Georgia May is pretty but seems a little borrowed off Georgia May Jagger - no bad thing if you don't mind celebrity associations. I'd vote Georgina or Georgianna instead.
btw - what was your mother's name that you're tempted to use?

I don't get this "look like" thing. If you give her the name Georgia or Elsie then she'll be exactly what a Georgia or Elsie looks like :)

PercyFilth · 03/01/2012 20:58

They're both really boring.

Wouldn't he agree to Tamsin without the Eloise? You could still pair it with May (or Fay or Kay or something, as May is terribly ubiquitous as a middle name atm)

Elsie is way nicer than Georgia

i really dislike the name Elsie, there was a horrible nun at my secondary with that name...

If everyone named their newborns after what they looked like they'd all be called Angry Ham Face. Grin
