How would you pronounce it, if you saw it written down? Ro-han or Roh-an?

My neighbour's DS is called Rohan. They promounce it R-oh-a-n (row as in row the boat)

ThatsNotSantasBabyBelly · 25/12/2011 19:54

Row-han

libelulle · 25/12/2011 19:56

I know a female rohan, pronounced row-an (as in row the boat), with stress on the row syllable. I think it's a lovely name!

MrsJohnDeere · 25/12/2011 19:57

Row-an (as in row, row, row the boat)

Need to alter my post slightly. Been thinking of it more and it is

Row-han in their case - they def pronouce the h as well

I have a relative with this name. He prns it "Rowan", with no discernible "h" sound.

I would pronounce it Row-an with no "h" sound. Like Roan. Like it a lot!
