My first thought was "it sounds like how certain newsreaders from northern Ireland pronounce 'now". Second thought: "I wonder how long it would take for the average school child to turn it into a-noy-ing." Sorry.

I'm sure some people would be able to carry it off, but not an easy name to have in the UK.
