Which do you prefer? We're american--is Barnaby a bit too british? What kind of person do you imagine a caspar/barnaby to be?

Ooh definitely Barnaby of those two. It's in our top 3! Caspar is nice too but definitely conjours up the friendly ghost who falls in love with a young Christina Ricci!

Only just back on this thread and saw your response meaniebrown re:Barney. I live in Africa and it seems to be very popular here which surprised me as my nephews and nieces in the UK have never seen it etc...so you have answered my question in that it is old and we are just way behind the times here! DS is only 2 and 10-15 years ago kids characters were the last thing on my mind so I suppose I just missed it!
