Can you give me some girls' names that end with 'ine' please? I like Delphine. Can't have Josephine. Thanks.

Brilliant, you've all made me laugh (but I do really like Delphine and Claudine, but no French links so probably pretentious. It's the sound 'een' I like, but not Doreen, Noreen and others of that ilk. And why? Just because I'm mulling over names (only8 weeks though) and don't want an 'ie' or an 'a' ending (one clashes with surname and the other 'matches' DD, which I don't like). I'll post with another random sound soon, I'm sure. It was 'st' last week!

My all time favourite: Justine

And my other faves:

Claudine (as above) - always liked it!
Celestine
... and slightly on a tangent: Marina

How is the name Clementine pronounced?

Is it Clemen - teen (to rhyme with sheen)

or Clemen - tyne (to rhyme with shine)

I sing the latter when i sing the song, but now I'm wondering.
