So far we have:

Nancy (I love, DH not convinced)
Nell
Romola
Alice
Beatrice

Please be honest, I can take it . She will be our dc3, and she is proving very hard to name. Maybe it will be obvious when she arrives!

Georgia
Harriet
Annabell
Rosalie
Francesca (oh, WHY does DH never agree with me!?)

dreamfeeder · 12/10/2011 22:33

I like Ellen shortened to Nell. Really lovely

peggyblackett · 12/10/2011 22:33

I love Martha and Eliza, unfortunately DH doesn't.

Wow twins to name! Plenty of name obsessing for you :).

and she wouldn't be Ellie, she'd be Nell!

TimeWasting · 12/10/2011 22:35

I considered Eleanor shortened to Nora as a matter of fact, would never have called her Ellie, though I'm sure she'd get that at school.

dreamfeeder · 12/10/2011 22:35

We're currently on should-we-find-out-the-sex debates... I think we need it given our track record for not agreeing on names

dreamfeeder · 12/10/2011 22:36

Nitty Nora The Hair Explorer. She better had have been Ellie at school.

Wink

Grin Never heard that one, we were worrying about Nora Batty!

CailinDana · 12/10/2011 22:40

I was at soft play the other day and the most gorgeous girl in the world (aged about 3) came and stroked my DS's head and smiled at him. Turns out her name was Nancy (Dad called her shortly after, ending DS's raptures of joy) so now that's my favourite name Grin

peggyblackett · 12/10/2011 22:40

I do like Nora too. Just not Eleanor.

I just need to love Eleanor, right?

YY to finding out the sex, the thought of having to agree 4 names would be too much for DH and me!

Ethne is a name you wont see in the top 1000, i had it picked for my dd but choose a name at 982. Shes 7 and her name is getting popular now.

dreamfeeder · 12/10/2011 22:48

4 names Confused argh!!!! maybe I should. We didn't for DD, and wouldn't have for another singleton, but I think there are surprises enough with twins...

Nancy is growing on me a lot

birdofthenorth · 13/10/2011 11:32

I like Romola! Makes good nicknames- Romy, Mo

AnaisB · 13/10/2011 11:41

Nancy - I like
Nell - could also be Cornelia (not sure if I like Cornelia though)
Romola - I'm not keen - sorry
Alice - nice, but there's a lot around at the moment if that bothers you.
Beatrice - Like

ImpYCelyn · 13/10/2011 14:07

Nell could also be from Helena or Ellen.

MamaLazarou · 13/10/2011 14:41

Nancy Nancy Nancy Nancy NANCY!

It's quite simply the best name ever.

GirlWithTheMouseyHair · 13/10/2011 19:01

Nell and Beatrice, don't like the others but love these two

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/10/2011 19:09

Alice is the best and Beatrice is nice. Not over-fond of Nancy or nell and really, really dislike Romola - sorry.

peggyblackett · 13/10/2011 21:17

Oh lawks - I am no further up the road in deciding what I like.

Any further suggestions please?
