Percy and Fanny

Greythorne · 31/08/2011 07:23

Paul and Pauline are both popular where I live (but to be fair, we're not ^in the UK). Oh, as is Fanny.

I like Hester and Agnes and Jocelyn.

What about Janine, Judith, Karen, Sylvia, Russell, Annette, Paulette, Adrian, Eric, Sandra, Philip, Frank?

On holiday in Austria this summer we met a lot of little Pauls (pronounced to rhyme with Owl). Seems to be popular in German speaking countries.

I think Carl is coming back too.

Greythorne - my ds2 is called Philip! Is it really that unusual? I thought it was a strong classic.

KikiRC · 01/09/2011 16:11

1944girl - you're joking re Evelyn, right?! It's one of the most over-used names around right now!

Ivy and Iris are starting to gain in popularity as well (although i don't understand why).

Stormwater · 02/09/2011 08:21

Reckon you're out on your girls names, 1944, I know an Edna, Enid and several Evelyns and Iris's. Not a Wilma or Thelma though, you could be right there.
