Can't choose between these two - help...

I've been toying with the idea of asking for help here for a week or two. What has held me back are the negative comments that some people post in response to others name ideas - so if you are a 'hater' / have nothing nice to say please don't respond to my question, I like my name choices & I'm finding it hard enough to choose as it is.
If however you are open & up for helping me I'd love to hear from you:-)

We have two names that we really like. They both include middle names BUT we don't necessarily envisage that the middle name will be used with the first name - more likely just as a pet name within the family if at all.

Elvie Frida Jacob
Marnie Maude Jacob

OR I guess we could go for Elvie Maude or Marnie Frida...
We did really like Elsie but my husband is worried that this might become popular over the next few years???

Thanks loads in advance for taking the time to help x

I love the name Marnie Frida.

But I wouldn't worry about alliteration if you like Marnie/Maude together. DS's first and middle names both have the same letter and I think they sound great together.

Alliteration never held back Norma Jean Wink

Hey
I'm loving all of your great feedback - some excellent points.
Too true re Norma Jean:)
It seems that Marnie Frida is the favourite so far...
Thanks x

I think Marnie Maude is beautiful! One of the best names I've hard in a while. Much stronger and yet cuter than Elvie Frida in my view, but both are interesting names

Another vote for the Marnie Frida combination.

My favourite mentioned so far though is Marnie Eloise and I also love Marnie Elsa.

I like Marnie, it was my grandmother's name (nickname actually, her real name was Marion, but no-one ever called her that).
