Quite like it.

Not scottie though - Scottie is a dog.

gailpottertilsleyplatt · 23/08/2011 19:52

There are a lot worse names than Scot. Scottie for example.

InstantAtom · 23/08/2011 19:58

It's quite nice, although a bit surnamey. Not overused ATM.

Catsdontcare · 23/08/2011 20:00

I like it, it's ds3's name

PedigreeChump · 23/08/2011 21:00

Like it - not too "now" so won't date, and suits all sorts of people/professions.

Scottie is a nickname, not a proper name.

usualsuspect · 23/08/2011 21:00

I like it

tammytoby · 23/08/2011 21:21

Lovely name. Classic and well known and not that widely used already. Great choice actually. (Not keen on Scottie though)

MrsRhettButler · 23/08/2011 21:29

pmsl @ gail

the only thing id say is it sounds very american to me but if that doesnt bother you then its a nice enough name :)

PippiLongBottom · 23/08/2011 21:42

I went to school with a few. In 1987.

It's ok. At a push.

pointydog · 23/08/2011 21:48

Don;t like it. A dull name, doesn't resonate

notlettingthefearshow · 23/08/2011 22:35

I really like it. Simple, classic, but not common.

EskimoPie · 23/08/2011 23:22

Yes - 1970s... Same era as Bradley, Dean, Shaun, Shane, Steven, Michael...

pommedechocolat · 24/08/2011 11:34

Very 70's/80's I think. I do like it though.
