Like Hester or Harriet or something? Possibly things that don't end 'a' or 'bel', but not too hairy-legged hockey player?!

Well if what I am carrying now is a girl we are going for Ruth. My mate has girls called Robyn and Erica, known fondly as Bob and Eric :D All good strong names with no floweryness (sp?) about them.

I know this IS girly, but I also love Cordelia. Is it too flouncy and tease-worthy?

Cordelia is rather flouncy in my opinion. How about Cora or Delia? Or
Simone

Esther
Nadia

Love Ellen and Esther but they don't really work with Elsa...

I did think about Cora, but my name's Laura. Is 'Laura and Cora' really silly? As though I have named her after myself?!

Evelyn
Angharad
Margaret (Meg)
Sarah
Catherine (Cat, Kate or Katie)

They're the ones that are least girly that spring to mind

Eloise

Rhubarbgarden · 11/08/2011 18:30

Ah, yes you can't have Cora if you are Laura! I'm a Laura too and had to reject Flora for the same reason, even though I love it. Bummer. Dd is Audrey which I think we just about get away with, though MIL does tend to call us both Laudrey and Audra all the time.

Dexifehatz · 11/08/2011 23:49

Hattie.Feminine but not too insipid.[dd1]
