I'm trying to work out what dd's friend is called . Possibly a French name (I think the father is French)
I've already suggested Annalise and dd said no. It's Annadeed.
Thanks :)

I thought Candide too.

My ds1 was at school with a Coralie, for a whole term in nursery he was adamant her name was Colouring Grin

midnightexpress · 30/07/2011 13:06

I had a friend at school called Annerly.

Amandine sounds the most likely if she's got a French name.

EdithWeston · 30/07/2011 13:10

Could it be double barrelled: Anne D-D?

When do you think you'll get the chance to find out?

MerylStrop · 30/07/2011 13:11

Annafrid, like the dark haired one in Abba?

I have a friend called Anandi.

RedHotPokers · 30/07/2011 18:14

I would guess she is just adding the surname.

My DD refers to a few of her friends by the first name and surname, almost as if they are one word (for example Chloebrown, Kaismith). No idea why, but she gets quite annoyed if you just refer to them as Chloe or Kai!

I think maybe the teacher uses their full names??

queenebay · 30/07/2011 18:18

anghared

KalamityJane · 30/07/2011 18:42

My dd2 has a friend called 'Medicine' aka Madison lol.

I would agree with the suggestions Anneliese, Amandine or maybe Amelie.

Intrigued to know what the name is now.

princessProudmel · 30/07/2011 21:21

EdithWeston her next lesson is on Wednesday but I'm not sure if she'll make it this week! So it could be end of august before I can ask him!!!

I don't think she's saying the surname as she doesn't know it.

My money is on Amandine :)

My ex-dp's little girl had a friend in her class called 'Toilet' and got really angry if I dared suggest it must be something different :o Turns out, she was 'Toyah'.

MummysLittleSunbeams · 30/07/2011 22:47

Heehee - please find out the real name & tell us!

chipmonkey · 31/07/2011 14:38

When ds2 started school, he told us his teacher was called Mr O'Organ. He was Mr O'Hara.

noddyholder · 31/07/2011 14:39

Anais?

cakesloveme · 31/07/2011 19:31

Elodie?

freerangeeggs · 31/07/2011 22:10

I think Amandine sounds most likely. Maybe a first-name-surname combination? Could her name be Anna Deed?

When he was about five my little brother made a friend on holiday and insisted that his name was Flipper. Turned out his name was Philip and little Philip had been telling his parents all about his new friend Woss (my brother is Ross). I often wish I had been party to a conversation between Flipper and Woss.

RollingInTheAisles · 31/07/2011 22:12
