DC2 is a girl, I have found out I don't like many girls names! List below, opinions and other thoughts welcome!! Ethan is her big brother, surname Loy

Esther
Phoebe
Kate
Emilia

Lyra Loy? Sounds like Lorelei but mixed up.

Not Emilia. It is just Amelia with an 'e' to me and a bit of a fussy name. The other three are all lovely. Esther is my favourite.

Lorelei, now there's a great name!! Don't think you're going to get away with Lorelei Loy though.... Wink

yeah that might be a bit much redhead!!!

If we went for Kate, it would just be Kate on birth certificate, I'm not keen on Katherine, Catrina, Catriona, Caitlyn etc and can't abide Katie...I might be a bit odd.

I have found Eira though, and other variants being Eirlys and Eirian and Eirwen....I am mostly welsh by blood so wouldn't be too weird

I like Kate best, then Esther.

Esther
Phoebe
Kate
Emilia ... love them all actually. You need look no further IMO.

Favourite is Esther - a classic Biblical name and had a friend once who used 'Esi' as an unusual nn which I loved.
