I like both, i cant choose between the two. Alice is so sweet while Alicia is more cool.

To go with sister Eloise.

ps feel free to offer alternative suggestions you think might go well with eloise

Think Eloise and Alice sound very smiliair

Sirzy · 14/07/2011 21:48

I like Alice best although it does sound quite similar to Eloise

LynetteScavo · 14/07/2011 21:49

Alice.

exoticfruits · 14/07/2011 22:03

Alice

PaperBank · 14/07/2011 22:34

Alicia is far more interesting than Alice.

katkitya · 14/07/2011 22:41

Amira? It has a nice meaning (but I forget it!) other than that, Alice. I think it's cool.

franke · 14/07/2011 22:44

I like Alicia best.

TillyIpswitch · 15/07/2011 02:29

Alice, no contest.

Alicia has a very 80s feel to me.

kiteflying · 15/07/2011 04:55

Do you like Alyssa, if you like Alicia?

Otherwise I would vote Alice (but that is because it is on my short short list for my baby!). I don't think it is too close to Eloise.

Bubbaluv · 15/07/2011 04:57

Alice is much nicer. Alicia is a bit 1982.

BeanaReena · 22/07/2011 16:12

I prefer Alice. Both are nice though :)

LisMcA · 22/07/2011 16:14

DGM was Alice, so its on my list if we have DC2.

How are you pronouncing alica Al-i-see-a or Al-eesh-a?

HoneyPablo · 22/07/2011 16:16

Alice, it's DD's name. She is 14 and it still suits her. She was Ali-bongo as a child, or Ali-bongofrombingo-bongoland to give her her full nickname.
I also love the name Eloise.

CharlieBoo · 22/07/2011 17:16

Love Alice.

livingonsaladalone · 22/07/2011 20:38

Alice.

Both nice though. DS1 would have been Alicia had he been a girl ("A-lis-eea"). DS2 would have been Alice. Somewhere in the intervening 2 years I decided that I preferred Alice - just a bit more classic / simple, and the prounouciation issue with Alicia put me off (not keen at all on the "Aleesha" pronounciation).

Mowlem · 22/07/2011 20:51

Prefer Alicia, goes better with Eloise IMHO
