She was born in July?

And it is a middle name (not that that matters!!)

Just wondering what you think?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It's pretty but a little odd, for a summer born child.

DriverDan · 08/07/2011 20:50

I don't think so, but then I have an August born Holly Grin I think it's fine if it's a name you love, others will probably disagree!

SloganLogan · 08/07/2011 20:50

No, not odd at all :) If you like it, use it. There are many names where the meaning is not to be taken literally.

Oakmaiden · 08/07/2011 20:51

Well, you could say it is because she was conceived in the (late) autumn?

AnaisB · 08/07/2011 20:52

was just about to say the same Oakmaiden!

HSMM · 08/07/2011 20:55

I have a July baby with a middle name Summer, but Autumn is a lovely name.

LetThereBeRock · 08/07/2011 20:56

Not at all odd imho.

Rhubarbgarden · 08/07/2011 21:05

I don't think it matters for a middle name.

JambalayaCodfishPie · 08/07/2011 21:19

I know an Autumn, born in April. :)

MelinaM · 08/07/2011 21:20

Autumn is lovely, no I don't think it mattersSmile

Jezabelle · 08/07/2011 21:48

I love Autumn, do it!

hollyw · 09/07/2011 00:50

No , especially not for a middle name. I'm considering Holly for an August baby though!

lisianthus · 10/07/2011 20:45

I don't understand why Holly has to be a Christmas name. After all, holly is around all year. People don't get funny if your daughter Rose wasn't born in June, or Daisy wasn't a spring baby.

Autumn is a lovely name.

PrincessScrumpy · 10/07/2011 21:10

Not at all - I like Autumn (dh vetoed it but I like it and it's my favourite season - all the colours). I wanted Blossom as a middle name but dh didn't like that either - he's a bit more traditional. Never mind - you go for it!
