Hi. I've finally plucked up the courage to post our shortlist on here to get peoples views! Dd is due in September so we have some time for fine-tuning/final selections.

Middle name will be Rose (after my sister/her godmother), surname starts with F.

Romilly (nn Romy)
Abigail (nn Abi)
Georgina (nn Georgie)

Thanks Smile

My vote is for Romilly, and I do like the sound of Romilly Rose.

Yama · 01/07/2011 11:43

I like Romily, love the nn Romy.

Not keen on the other two.

minipie · 01/07/2011 11:43

LOVE Romilly

Abigail is ok - Abby is sweet

Georgina not so keen (and I find Georgiana too frilly) - but I like Georgia.

BikeRunSki · 01/07/2011 11:51

Romily Rose is lovely.

Georgina and Abigail to twee. Dislike them both, and dislike "Gerogie" and "abbi" more.

Psammead · 01/07/2011 11:55

Not crazy about Romilly. I like both others. Georgina possibly pips Abigail to the post.

AKMD · 01/07/2011 13:09

This is slightly stalkerish but having slept on it, I quite like 'Romilly Rose' - it is so fun to say!

where i'm from georgiana is pronounced geor - gee - ah -nah

emmyloo2 · 05/07/2011 07:01

Georgina is my favourite - I adore it. Abigail is also nice. Romilly I don't think I like as much.

I actually like Rose the most out of all of them. What about that for a first name?

Fifis25StottieCakes · 05/07/2011 11:52

Romilly for me as i have one Grin

Hedwig3 · 05/07/2011 11:54

None are my cup of tea but I like Romilly best. It seems the odd one out of your list though? As in it doesn't read like a sib set and most peoples short lists are all the same style.

I prefer Georgia to Georgina.

willowstar · 05/07/2011 19:53

I have a Georgina who I always call Georgie (named after my granny) so that has my vote :-)

proudfoot · 05/07/2011 20:00

I vote Abigail but they are all nice.

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 06/07/2011 21:24

I have a Romilly, too. (Our surname also begins with 'F' and she has 2 mns one of them beginning with an 'R' - all very spooky... Grin)
