Came accross it in a book. what does everyone think?

Just sounds silly.

How do you pronounce it? Don't think I'm keen to be honest.

I know an Honor (also not keen but if it's to your taste)

It isn't pronounced ah-NER-ee-ah, like "gonorrhea", but ah-NORE-ee-ah, with a heavy NORE sound like in "Eleanor" or "Nora".

This is the name of a murderer in an Agatha Christie and all I can see is a barking mad Honoria.I do much prefer Honor ,lovely name.

It is my mum's name. It is pronounced 'On-or-eea' and has traditionally been the long-form of Honor. It is also often shortened to Nora. I had a great aunt who had that variant.

as it is I am not pregnant but I actually think this is beautiful and that surprised me as I do no at all care for Honor I find it harsh and unplesant
