Lauren - do you think it's chavvy

We are in Scotland btw if that makes any difference and have DD1 Sophie.

It's not chavvy but it does make me think of lorne sausage...especially being Scottish. Sorry....

I wouldn't say its chavvy but there are much nicer names around imo. How about Sophie & Lucy, Sophie & Laura or Sophie & Lily.

It's not "chavvy"no. But I agree with pp that it's very dated.

It shrieks 1990s to me. Which means it's not due a comeback any time soon.

I'm also not a fan of using a variation of a classic name to make things more interesting. Laura is beautiful, simple, elegant and timeless.Lauren is just unnecessary IMO.

I don't think it goes very well with Sophie either I'm afraid.

(I suppose I mean if I imagined a sibset of Sophie and Lauren, I'd imagine the Sophie to be about 3 and the Lauren to be in her late teens IYSWIM?)
