Can I use Zoe if my DH already has a Chloe?

There would be a 12 year age gap. What do you think?

I think that's possibly the best 'how we met story' I've ever heard! :)

I know siblings called Darren and Sharon :( It's very unfortunate

Must admit I'm torn on the OP's question. I'd quite like Caitlin for my baby if she's a girl but DH already has an (estranged) Katie aged 19 and I'm a Katie too. So it's probably not going to happen. If I'd set my heart on Caitlin since I was a little girl I'd probably be a bit more :( about it, but I'll get over it.

I think it's a bit unfair to assume the OP doesn't 'care' about Chloe's feelings if she names the child Zoe.

why dont you ask your step daughter what shebthinks about the name zoe for her sister. she may like the fact its close to her name and will feel included in the decision.

I think it would be fine (speaking as a SM). My DH thinks it is fine too. There's a bit of a smile in the rhyme of course - but not enough to rule the name out completely if you and your DH love it.

Katie/Caitlin is tougher because it is the same name. Sorry KatieWatie. I had a few names ruled out because of DSS too.
