Not sure we have chosen the right name for our 3 month old!

We called our baby boy Arlo Louis but I'm wondering if we should swap it round to Louis Arlo. The name Arlo seems to be a bit of a conversation stopper and then I mention Louis is the middle name and that gets a response of being a lovely name! So maybe he would prefer the name Louis. I like both but just have a nagging feeling it needs to change. What do people think?

I like Arlo! Chamge it if you and dh want to but not because of other peoples reactions. If we had £1 for everytime we had a bad reaction to ds2's name, dh wouldn't have to work any more!

If you live in East Dulwich every other newborn boy is an Arlo (or a Jago/Inigo/Milo etc) so move there.

Louis Arlo makes me think Louis Armstrong. Stick with Arlo, it's great, and it's getting trendier so the reactions that are coming from 'eee, never heard that before' will die down.

Love Arlo!

I much prefer Louis Arlo but it;s not my decision is it?

It's your decision, if you love the name Arlo, stick with it.
