Talking about popular and trendy names: My name is not very common. I don't think it's ever been particularly popular and I rarely come across anyone with the same name. It's not weird or made-up or anything like that. Although it can be used as a nick for some more well-known names, it has always been a standalone name. It is short.

Anyone care to guess it? :)

My DD's middle name is Kaye, which is her Dad's surname. DD has my surname but I wanted to put her Dad's in there somewhere and luckily it works as a middle name. DD loves it and goes through phases of insisting everyone call her Kaye Smile

One problem I've encountered occasionally is that some people have expected me to be a bloke, since in some countries it's a man's name. Pronounced to rhyme with Guy, but if they've only seen it written .... Confused

Kay is quite pretty, it makes me think of a nice friendly person, like there was that lovely midwife on one born every minute called Kay i think?
I actually could imagine it coming back in fashion at some point, i quite like it

I know 4 Kays. Two male and two female. Very nice name for either.
