I love it! It was on my list years ago, except my boss's name was Stephen and I knew my colleagues would snurk.

But it's very pretty. Love Stephie too.

CharlieBoo · 26/03/2011 08:00

Horrid....

C0smos · 26/03/2011 08:49

Well it's my name so I'm bias. Never been called Stephie though - always Steph

pointydog · 26/03/2011 08:51

Very retro. Quite like it.

MaresyTotes · 26/03/2011 08:52

I like it

Hedwig3 · 26/03/2011 09:27

Not for me, but it's not awful.

ChessPiece · 26/03/2011 09:34

Love it. Nowt wrong with Steph/Stephie.

meditrina · 26/03/2011 09:37

Like it.

You could go all Wodehouse and nn her Stiffie.

aStarWithHerOwnWays · 26/03/2011 09:38

Ugh, can't stand it. Don't know why, just never been able to.

LetThereBeRock · 26/03/2011 10:31

It's horrid.

Trinaluce · 26/03/2011 12:15

Love it but can't use it as it's my mum's name Smile

Mum's always been Steph (apart from a nutcase friend of hers who insists on calling her Stephie) - I started calling her Fanny for a bit just to wind her up, as for some reason it's a shortening no-one ever uses... Wink

darleneconnor · 26/03/2011 18:34

Fanny, really?

Chocolocolate · 26/03/2011 18:38

I prefer Persephone nn Sephie, but Stephanie is OK.

deemented · 26/03/2011 18:45

Only if she has pink hair and a liking for sports candy.

ragged · 26/03/2011 18:51

I like it :).

LOL Trinaluce... I had never thought of that! Maybe not then!

It is beautiful - classic and elegant. Love the nickname Steph or Stephie. Makes a refreshing change from all the overused cutey type names (Lilly, Tilly, Milly, Poppy etc). Great choice!

Noooooooooooonononononono! I didn't mean that to put you off! It has never occurred to ANYONE else, and I never passed it on, it was just a joke between me and her Smile

I still like it and would love to use it, if only mum hadn't got there first!

A1980 · 26/03/2011 22:52

It had never occurred to be either, nor anyone else it seems and I bet the Stephanie's who exisit world wide are happy about that!

It think it's a sweet name.

BeanaReena · 10/04/2011 23:51

Trinaluce My sister is called Stephanie and I have also used that nick name quite a lot in the past to annoy her. Great minds! :o

I think the name is OK.

SolarPanel · 11/04/2011 00:38

Quite nice, although a bit dated.

emeraldislander · 11/04/2011 22:53
