Gorgeous, both lovely names and a nice combination :)

ghansell · 18/03/2011 19:43

Love the name but think the other way round flows better.

Jezabelle · 18/03/2011 20:38

Beautiful, Lucy isn't over popular and it will never date her to a specific decade as it's always been used IYSWIM. Oh, and I actually like it that way round.

ValiumSingleton · 19/03/2011 01:33

no. too many sssssssssss sounds.

expectingno3 · 19/03/2011 08:27

I think Jessica Lucy flows better. Maybe thats because I am a Jessica, and my younger sister, a Lucy! Though I really prefer the name Lucy...

squeak2392 · 19/03/2011 15:22

Both lovely names and definitely on the same level (although this makes me think maybe they'd be better as sister).
I think it sounds fine either way round, but I much prefer the name Lucy, so I'd say Lucy Jessica.

Lovely, lovely, lovely.

EllenJane1 · 19/03/2011 21:04

Lucy is really pretty. Not so keen on Jessica but fine as a second name.

collision · 19/03/2011 21:06

Lovely name

Lucy never seems to date and is not particularly popular atm.

jellybeans · 19/03/2011 21:35

fabulous choice :)

butterpieify · 19/03/2011 21:36

My sister is a Lucy Jessica :) She's 18, so it is a combination that isn't too dated to now.

Graciewitch · 19/03/2011 21:43

Lucy is nice and won't date. I don't think it is popular.

sparkle12mar08 · 19/03/2011 21:58

Lucy is lovely but don't particularly like Jessica I have to say. And especially not as a middle name to Lucy.

pooka · 19/03/2011 22:07

I love Lucy.

Not so keen on Jessica.

As a combo - I think it could be a bit sssss-y. But then I have a lisp Blush so would be a no-no.

FWIW dd is Lucy. She has Anna as middle name. But I rather wish I'd gone for Lucy Helena (having subsequently had 2 ds and therefore no opportunity to use the Helena I had in reserve).

pooka · 19/03/2011 22:09

Also, of 420 children at the primary school (se london), think dd is the only Lucy. The other left last year.

Heaps of Jessica's though - 4 that I definitely know of through dd and ds1's classes. Think at least 1 per year group.

We have a Lucy Jessica here. She lives up to her name: Lucy - light, Jessica - wealth (of love). Yes, I'm biased but she's brought so much light and love into our home. It's a great name Wink
