I hope she'll go a tiny bit more classic. Perhaps a nod to one of her famous fashion designers or something along those lines.

Audrey - obviously loves her, big sunglasses etc
Mercy (short for Mercedes - kind of goes with cruz)
Paloma - bit fashiony, goes with Romeo

I'm surprised that people are suggesting such naff and common names. The Beckhams might be from working class backgrounds, but they are both imaginative and stylish.

ValiumSingleton · 15/03/2011 14:55

Emma, I agree with you. The names they've chosen so far might not be Elizabeth/William but they weren't predictably ch* either. I reckon it'll be something really interesting rather than *av

"they are both imaginative and stylish."
Hilarious, it's excellent to see a sense of humour survives on Mumsnet!

Strawbezza · 15/03/2011 15:07

Tiffany
Alexa/Alexia
Olympia

SlightlyJaded · 15/03/2011 16:09

OOh Olympia is a great suggestion. Year of olympics / sport connection / ancient royal connections as well.

Good shout Strawb

VivaLeBeaver · 15/03/2011 17:38

I think Betsy Beckham has a nice ring to it.

VivaLeBeaver · 15/03/2011 17:42

Maybe it'll be a California town. Possibiliteis such as

Avalon
Armona
Lexi
Kennedy
Bodfish

My money is on Luna. I'm sure I read somewhere years ago she liked the name.

lottiejenkins · 16/03/2011 07:17

She did like Luna till Ellen Rives called her daughter that!!! Wink

orienteerer · 16/03/2011 07:25

Presumably named after place of conception a la Brooklyn? Perhaps HollywoodGrin or Angeles, or even Malibu!

donnie · 16/03/2011 09:34

'imaginative and stylish'?

really?

MackerelOfFact · 16/03/2011 12:50

For some reason, Etta just popped into my head. So going with that, even though Etta Beckham sounds a bit shit.

MackerelOfFact · 16/03/2011 12:55

Loving Bodfish and Corguette

usedtobeahappycamper · 16/03/2011 13:07

I love Malibu Stacey Grin

BertieBasset · 16/03/2011 13:09

Someone suggested Diamond and I think that is a good call.

I know a 90 year old lady called Diamond and it is a wonderful name for her as she is still completely fabulous!

Also close to Diana, and with the Royal wedding and...

And unusual and blingy enough I think

SlightlyJaded · 16/03/2011 14:20

Malibu Stacy was the name of a club on Hanover Square in the early 90s. Just saying like

MackerelOfFact · 16/03/2011 14:22

It of course goes without saying that I hope she is a total tomboy with no interest whatsoever in the frivolities of fashion.

ValiumSingleton · 16/03/2011 17:09

A tomboy is still a woman.

I'm taking credit for Olympia Grin

I thought Malibu Stacey was the Barbie-type doll that Lisa Simpson has.

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 16/03/2011 18:28

Is she having a girl then?

mathanxiety · 16/03/2011 18:48

I was thinking of the Simpsons when I posted, not the club. Grin

She could be Boo for short.
