Is it overused and trendy?

I am looking for a funky unual name. Ziggy got poo poo'd here and I fear Stanley is a bit Alfie!

Is Theo unusual still?

I also quite like Hunter but I know that won't go down well here either :)

my friend called her baby Theo. i love the name but dont like theodore. she had a foreign au pair who pronounced it Teo.

I adore Theo, but it is very popular in certain middle-class type areas. And given that a shocking number of people can't pronounce the 'th' sound it has an enormous drawback.

Lovely, but yes, Feo by his class mates til they get to 6 or 7!

You could always go with Theodore then you can have Theo or Ted/ Teddy is nns

Theodore is our top boys' name, has been for some time. I studied ancient Greek and always liked it from being a child because of the meaning. I like Theo, Ted and Teddy although DH hates Teddy. Amusingly, he was really against it due to Roosevelt, but persuaded by... Bill and Ted (of excellent adventure fame).
