Is it overused and trendy?

I am looking for a funky unual name. Ziggy got poo poo'd here and I fear Stanley is a bit Alfie!

Is Theo unusual still?

I also quite like Hunter but I know that won't go down well here either :)

my friend called her baby Theo. i love the name but dont like theodore. she had a foreign au pair who pronounced it Teo.

I adore Theo, but it is very popular in certain middle-class type areas. And given that a shocking number of people can't pronounce the 'th' sound it has an enormous drawback.

Lovely, but yes, Feo by his class mates til they get to 6 or 7!

You could always go with Theodore then you can have Theo or Ted/ Teddy is nns

I only know 1. I think it's lovely Smile

It is popular (not that that bothers me though).
It's popular in my working class area btw.

Theodore is our top boys' name, has been for some time. I studied ancient Greek and always liked it from being a child because of the meaning. I like Theo, Ted and Teddy although DH hates Teddy. Amusingly, he was really against it due to Roosevelt, but persuaded by... Bill and Ted (of excellent adventure fame).
Tsh.
