crashingwaves · 23/02/2011 15:27

I like both bot Monique sounds French and sophisticated so I'll say Monique too :)

bisybackson · 23/02/2011 15:31

Just to go against the current consensus - Monica nn Nicky.

Monique french and pretentious to me (unless you are french in which case v pretty) Smile

SilkStalkings · 23/02/2011 17:26

Prefer Dominique - would that be an option.

pointissima · 23/02/2011 17:29

Monique if you are French, otherwise it is pretentious. Monica is nice

OliveMalay · 24/02/2011 08:56

Monica is very pretty.

Agree with bisybackson about Monique.

lilly13 · 24/02/2011 19:36

Monique is more sophisticated and less common...

Monica is very american (well, if you are american, then go for it!)

spidookly · 24/02/2011 19:38

Monique is sophisticated the Diamonique is sophisticated, i.e. not

Use Monica

EauRouge · 24/02/2011 19:42

I agree- Monica, unless you are French.

mathanxiety · 24/02/2011 20:12

Monica here.

Monique sounds to me like a name one step removed from 'Unique', so definitely less sophisticated imo.

5DollarShake · 24/02/2011 20:23

Monique sounds middle-aged me.

Prefer Monica.

Sarsaparilllla · 25/02/2011 10:47

Monique is much prettier and a lot less common, I like it

spidookly · 25/02/2011 12:08

Monique sounds like the kind of woman Delboy would marry.

WiiUnfit · 25/02/2011 19:44

I prefer the name Monique, but I do have a Monique colleague - constantly wrongly called "Monica" Hmm
