I like both bot Monique sounds French and sophisticated so I'll say Monique too :)

Monique sounds to me like a name one step removed from 'Unique', so definitely less sophisticated imo.

I prefer the name Monique, but I do have a Monique colleague - constantly wrongly called "Monica" Hmm
