Ok, what do people think of this somewhat short list of names? Don't know what we're having, but I'll post again for the boys in a bit...

Emily April (baby due in April hence middle name)
Lois Katie
Merryn Emily

Or different combos of these names? Our sirname begins with 'Red...' Thanks!

I like all three combinations.

Emily April is lovely - but do you mind that her initials would be EAR?

expectingno3 · 14/02/2011 12:46

Hmm Seeker, you're now the second person to mention the EAR issue! I'm still not sure if its anything to worry about or not really...

I love Lois and Merryn but think a one syllable middle name would sound better.
eg
Lois Kate

QuestionNumber · 14/02/2011 14:42

Hadn't noticed the EAR issue but have to agree I would avoid it. A pity as Emily April is lovely (how about April Emily?)

Katie Lois would be nice.

QuestionNumber Katie is lovely but its my niece's name. It'd have to be a second name. I've just tried saying April Emily outloud and it came out 'April Elimy'- its a bit of a tounge twister!

I daren't start on the boys names. I posted a few days ago with, again, a very small list of 3 - Ben, Tom, Sam. These are the only 3 DH and I can agree on. He likes solid, no-nonsense, biblical names. I'd like something a bit more, well, different. Any cool middle names to spice those names up a bit?
Names I like:
Dexter
Elliot
Mac
Luca / Lucas

I love merryn. It would have been ds's name had he been a she.

If it is your favorite and your oh likes it then go with that!!

NOt so keen on April I'm afraid. Feels a bit twee.
