mathanxiety · 21/11/2010 19:49

Love it. (And also love Gustav).

MelinaM · 21/11/2010 21:38

ttalloo · 21/11/2010 21:47

I love it.

evamummy · 21/11/2010 22:30

I like it. Also like Gustav.

SirBoobAlot · 21/11/2010 23:09

Horrible, sorry.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 21/11/2010 23:09

Are you French?

kreecherlivesupstairs · 21/11/2010 23:22

I would think of a tide ( different spelling though) or some hard wearing material.

nooka · 22/11/2010 06:06

I think that you might hit pronunciation problems. I would assume a Russian connection and pronounce Sir-gay, which I think is cool but I also know a Serge which is pronounced more like surge which I don't like. Not sure which you would be going for? Personally I'd expect an English child with either name to have quite a strong European connection.

diddl · 22/11/2010 08:44

haven´t a lot of people heard of Serge Gainsbourg?

i don´t think there would be a pronunciation problem tbh.

And surely "Sir-gay" is Sergei?

cumbria81 · 22/11/2010 09:32

No. Makes me think of sleazy old French men

hulabula · 22/11/2010 11:01

How would you pronounce it, like Sergei?

mathanxiety · 22/11/2010 18:59

'Ser-gay' would be the Russian Sergei.

Serge I would pronounce as in Serge Gainsbourg ('Surzh', approximately).

Ineedsomesleep · 22/11/2010 19:02

Agree with the nooka, think your DS would just be called Surge.

JustDoMyLippyThenWeWillGo · 22/11/2010 19:02
