Why all the excitement about what David Cameron would call their baby but not what Ed Miliband's will be? I am dying to find out...

Cain for his quote "am I my brothers keeper) in the bible !

pongonperdy · 08/11/2010 16:35

NormaSknockers · 08/11/2010 16:37

I'm thinking Benjamin or James.

PropertySnake · 08/11/2010 16:41

ilovemydogandMrObama · 08/11/2010 16:43

Ephraim

SoMuchToBits · 08/11/2010 16:55

Joshua or James. All the Daniels I know who have brothers have a Joshua or James.

loonyrationalist · 08/11/2010 17:11

Cyclops "Karl" Grin I'd love to hope he would be brave enough!!
(They could maybe compromise on Friedrich)

loonyrationalist · 08/11/2010 17:14

gherkinwithapurplemerkin - you're expecting a conservative pm for the next 18 years? Shock The way things are going I'm thinking they'll be lucky to manage another 18 months Grin

mathanxiety · 08/11/2010 17:29

Samuel or even Abraham. Or maybe Justin.

HRHCavey · 08/11/2010 17:45

Am I the only one hoping for a Romeo & Juliet style romance with the new Milliband and little Florence Cameron Grin

Changebagsandgladrags · 08/11/2010 18:05

Eric (from Banana man) :D

KittyFoyle · 08/11/2010 18:22

Blimey. Not all Jewish boys have Biblical names you know. Some are called stuff like...Ed.

I know a Jewish guy called Merlin. He's a wizard.

ChoccieDoodleyAdventCalender · 08/11/2010 18:29

If Milliband Jnr names his son the same name as ds I am changing his name. For some reason I think he is a twerp, might be the only one thoug.

Cyclops · 08/11/2010 18:30

yes, or perhaps 'Carl' to Anglicise things a bit! Or there's always plain old Charles!

ChoccieDoodleyAdventCalender · 08/11/2010 18:30

Not new baby obviously but the labour leader one Grin I am not a political fan and I have no idea why but his face makes my blood curdle. Just can't help it!

KittyFoyle · 08/11/2010 18:32

Oh no I'm not keen either. I can't bear Ed Miliband's voice. Find him really creepy. Not quite as off putting as Anne Widdicombe's voice but pretty close.

SweetnessAndShite · 08/11/2010 18:36

I immediately thought Thomas, too.

fridascruffs · 08/11/2010 18:37

Billy. Or they could just cut to the chase and call him Silly.
They'd have had more choice for a girl- Milly, Tilly, Jilly, Lily...

fridascruffs · 08/11/2010 18:38

As long as they don't call him after fruit...

fridascruffs · 08/11/2010 18:40

Plums Milliband, anyone? Melons?

bubby64 · 08/11/2010 18:44

I go with Caleb

ellesabe · 08/11/2010 18:47

I think William

GailFawkes · 08/11/2010 18:50

Elijah

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 08/11/2010 19:15

Loony - Nope. Not 18 years in opposition but I reckon labour will lose next election (we all hate the Tories but I still think they'll win it Sad). And Ed will get the elbow as a result.
