Boys names to go with Honor....!?!?!

DH and I have picked Honor if baby is a girl. However stuck on boys names. If we ever have a girl she will be called Honor so the name needs to 'work' with Honor.

DH wants the name to grab him, however that doesn't mean 'flowery or over the top'.

The only name we both 'like' is Jamie but whist it's a good / nice name it's just a bit well blaaaaa.

I don't wait anything currently in the Top 10..?

I've suggested Kit (brave) Hamish and Hugh.

What do you lot think could work...???

You can use Kit as a nn for Christian (as well as Christopher), it's on my shortlist.

You may not appreciate this joke, but others might...Winkour surname is Pike, so Honor was one of our 'joke' names! I do like it under normal circumstances though! (Our 'joke' names for boys were 'Tobias' and 'Spike')
Hamish is lovely. My kids have the same initial and it means you can use the same nametapes!

p.s. Honor is especially good with a Scottish accent, rather than an English one where it can sound like 'on a...'

The one Honor I know of has a brother called Rory.

Oberon...sorry but yuck! Having an Honor and Obey is just plain mean. Smile

Jude is brilliant, but I know DH will never ever in a million years let me have it. Still pushing for Kit or Hamish....!!!

Sadly Rory has been already used in the family.

Quite liking Toby at the moment..??

I'm not sure Toby seems 'right' with Honor somehow?

Wetwelly mmm i agree. [bear bear bear]

No doubt i'll end up having 3 boys and Honor will never get used.

Shoppingdays I think I love you...!

Charles/Charlie - already on my short list.
Benjamin/Ben
Frederick/Freddie/Fred
Alexander/Alex
Samuel/Sam
Edward - DH so maybe as a middle name

Tristan....I have been banging on about this name forever. I LOVE IT. Clearly this has nothing to do with Brad Pitt and that film! Showing my age...Xmas Smile

We have a 3 syllable surname so need quite a 'punchy' first name.

Really love Freddie but just a bit worried that it's quite 'done' now. Live in the South East...but hope one day to return to Scotland...!
