I need a middle name for sienna, I know that middle names arn't used that much, but would like something that flows well, and works well together, if you see what I mean.

Its just annoys me when people ask for genuine help with baby names, and people have to come on and ruin the thread with their meaningless suggestions. Sorry if I come across as a bit stressy, but it gets to me when people do the same on my thread¬!

rachxx · 09/10/2010 22:04

Proper suggestions please. I know sienna isnt to evryones taste, and you might think of sienna miller, but its my choice of name, and wnated middle names. Thanks to those who have suggested.

Sienna Catherine sounds good said aloud IMO (imagine yourself as the proud mother at the wedding). It is a more traditional name to balance out the more modern and unusual and also St Catherine was born in Siena in Italy. It could be a good excuse for a family holiday to Tuscany in a few years time!
(or Katherine if you prefer a K).

love Sienna Catherine - sounds good whether or not you like the Tuscany reference.

Surprising myself, Sienna Margaret has some appeal.

Also,

Sienna Kate

Sienna Marie

NKinDXB · 10/10/2010 13:50

A friend of mine has a Sienna Mia which is pretty.

rachxx · 10/10/2010 14:25

I like the name a lot - Catherine does sound good, and is lovely with the background to it.

can i ask a genuine question? How did Siena (as in the town) become Sienna with an extra n as a name? We liked Siena as a name but wasn't quite "us" if you see what i mean, plus i could not bring myself to add an extra letter into an existing name. I may be being daft - but am really interested to know.

rachxx · 10/10/2010 15:02

Sienna is a colour aswell, so I think the name comes from there, as opposed to the town

aha thanks.
so doubly lovely.

ColdComfortFarm · 10/10/2010 18:37

I thought WTDDT was quite funny. It's not against the law to make a joke.
Anyway, on a more serious note, what about Jude? Wink
I think the best middle names are family names, ie a granny or godmother's name, so they have real emotional meaning, and have a story to tell your children about their own history.

PaulineCampbellJones · 10/10/2010 18:49

Catherine/ Kate
Mary
Kay

kizzibear · 11/10/2010 09:58

NKinDXB · 11/10/2010 14:14

Yes, I think Sienna Maia works too.
