Here are some boy names I like. DP doesn't. Suggest more please!

I have a fair few names that I quite like, but DP rejected most of them for DS, so I don't particularly see him going for them if DC2 turns out to be a boy.

I do like long names with a shortening available (DS has a longer name and is generally known by the shortened version), but I'm not totally and utterly set on that. I'm not hugely adventurous, but I'd like to be vaguely interesting (I'm not going to weep if there are 3 others in the class with the same name - DS's name is somewhere around 70-80 on the top 100 boys names for last year)

Anyway, names I like:

Nathanial
Sebastian
Cameron (really really like this, but taken by a close relative)
Alexander (again, really like this, used by v close friend)
Samuel
Mac (If I could think of a good long name to shorten to Mac, I'd totally be going for this, but DP thinks it's silly)

Saul - biblical Hebrew name - means 'asked for' - I think its lovely with a lovely meaning and not very common which is interesting when you think how commonly used the name Paul is with only one letter difference !

Evan?

Stefan?

I like Nathanial shortened to Nate.(6 feet under)

Not sure about Mac, straight steal from CSI New York. so I think of it as an old man's name.

McKenzie is the name of Chav sportswear.
Not Felix (the cat)
McKinley hmmmm what after the mountain in Alaska , your call.

I have worked with a few Saul's when I worked in the Youth Offending Team so that name has bad connertations for me.

What about Kurt?

I hate Perigine. would it be shortened to Perry? The only two Perry's I know of are Kevin and Perry and Perry Farrall

I love Sebastian (it's one of DS's friends middle names).

DD was going to be called Bruno if she was a boy. I love it, it's cute for a little boy but manly for a grown up.
