Unisex name needed for our passed baby.

I need some ideas on a unisex name for the baby DH and I have just lost.

We are wanting to leave an entry in the remembrance book and I hope, that by picking a nice name we can come to terms with our loss and give an identity to the baby we never got to know. (But will never forget)
At the moment I would like to explore unisex names as we do not know what the sex was.

I am sorry this is possibly a sad thread, for all you expecting your lovely new babies but I think a few different ideas and input would be nice. :)

Seren means Star in Welsh. Apparently its a girls name but I've heard it on a couple of boys too.

So sorry for your loss. Thinking of you.

mathanxiety · 04/10/2010 18:29

Angel? It's a Spanish boy's name and can be a girl's name too.

Very sorry about your loss.

jaffacake2 · 04/10/2010 18:32

Rowan is a pretty name for boy or girl. Iknow there is a rowan tree, maybe you could plant one in memory of your little one.
So sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I lost my darling son Malachy at 30 weeks in June.

I too like Ira. Also Asa - it is usually a boy's name but sounds nice for a girl.

Noah/Noa

Sidney

Frankie

Thank you for all your input,

As someone said on the Antenatal thread I was on; 'it is a blessing to even be pregnant' and this is view I am holding on to.

Amory is a park locally and my friend is called Frances so that wouldn't feel right, thank you though :)

Purplebuns - so sorry, we were on the same antenatal board - I mc too a couple of weeks ago.
think choosing a name is a lovely idea.
I like the idea of a nature name - Indigo, Sky, Ash, Ocean, that kind of thing.

Eden and Sky are lovely, particularly for a little one that has passed on.

campocaro · 05/10/2010 12:23

We named our lost baby after a wood by a river in Ireland-called Rineen- we walked there when we just found out I was pregnant. We went back there many years later and it is a beautiful and peaceful place, So maybe a name associated with a place would be good for you too?
