Here's how it goes: I suggest name; DP rejecs for some vague reason. Everything from the bizarre to the biblical to the banal.

But finally, he likes one! I have no idea why.

For a girl:

Bahati (promounced BAEHHAATiy).

It's Swahili and one of my suggestions as I'm half Kenyan and was born and raised there for a decade.

His name is very English, but kiddo should look a bit exotic. Would you think it a strange name??

Hmm, I see what people are saying about spelling/pronounciation issues.

mathanexity spelling it Beyhati ... dunno, we could do but I don't like the idea of anglicizing it like that. I also like the written composition of it the way it is, the vowel/consonant mix. Which is odd, I know!

Other names I like but haven't yet posed to DP:

Aziza (I like Azizi better but its meant for a boy)

Tabia

Aziza is great

Tabia - there's an obvious gynaecological issue .....

Aziza is really gorgeous.

Tabia -- yes, problems, as Jamie points out.

Aziza is pretty cool, different yet easy to say and spell :)

(well i suppose you could get Azeeza?)

Oh, hah, Tabia. Totally went over my head. Nixing that one then.

Will run Aziza past DP. Fingers crossed!
